About the Program

The largest national innovation competition for young people.

InnovNation Competition Serbia is a national competition aimed at high school students, university students, and early-stage startups from across Serbia who want to develop their innovative ideas into sustainable and market-relevant solutions. Through education, mentorship, networking, and financial support, participants develop entrepreneurial skills, improve their ideas, and gain the experience necessary to take their first steps into the world of innovation and technological entrepreneurship. The competition is organized by the Science Technology Park Belgrade, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia and partners from the innovation ecosystem.

What is required?

  • A formed team in accordance with the conditions of the public call
  • An innovative idea or solution with potential for further development
  • A completed application form with basic information about the team and idea
  • Motivation and readiness to actively participate in all stages of the competition
  • Fulfillment of the conditions defined by the public call for the relevant participant category

Note: For the high school team category, at least one team member must be of legal age.

Yes. It is not necessary to have a registered company to participate. The competition is intended for teams developing innovative ideas, regardless of whether they have established a company.

Yes. Participation in InnovNation Competition Serbia is free for all teams selected through the selection process.

No. Applications must be submitted as a team, in accordance with the conditions of the public call. For the high school team category, the team must have at least one member who is of legal age and will serve as the responsible person throughout the competition.

The competition includes educational workshops, mentorship support, innovative idea development, preparation for presenting to an expert jury, networking with representatives of the innovation ecosystem, and the opportunity to win financial awards.

After applications close, an expert committee evaluates the submitted applications based on the criteria defined by the public call. The teams with the greatest potential advance to the next stages of the competition.
